Brown Sugar & Cinnamon roasted chickpeas

This recipe calls for 2 cans of garbanzo beans, however if you only want to do 1 can, just half the amounts.

  • 4 tbsp brown or dark brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional)

  • Olive oil

Directions
  1. First, empty contents of the can(s) then drain and place on paper towels or a kitchen towel.

  2. Pat dry with a paper towel, making sure to get as much moisture out as possible.

  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. 

  4. Place chickpeas on baking sheet and place in oven for 15 minutes.

  5. While in the oven, mix together your spices.

  6. Remove beans from oven, drizzle olive oil and sprinkle the seasonings. 

  7. Place back in oven 15 more minutes.

  8. Remove and enjoy. I let mine cool a bit but you may enjoy while warm.
